Louisa is a visual artist working across photography, film and painting.
She was born in Algeria, raised in the Netherlands, and currently lives in Barcelona, Spain.

At a young age, Louisa became part of Europe's first generation of female professional skateboarders. Her career included several documentary appearances that took her to Afghanistan (2009) and Johannesburg (2016), where she documented her experiences through analog photography.

After studying documentary photography at Hogeschool voor de Kunsten Utrecht (HKU), her work has been published in various outlets like Volkskrant Magazine, NRC Next, I-D and Kodachrome Magazine.

She is available for commissions.
