In 2009, I co-starred in a documentary about Skateistan, Afghanistan's first skateboarding school, located in Kabul.
The experience deeply affected me and I felt the need to give something back.
This book features photographs by Kenny Reed and me, an introduction by journalist Derek Flood, an Afghan translation by Mariam Stanekzai, and reflections from all four of us,
along with contributions from Oliver Percovich, Noorzai, Murza, and Fazila.
